Description;
The CABS program stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being. When you are caring for a child, you are taking care of a parent(s) most prized possession. Everything in their home and your own home can be replaced— everything, that is, except a child.
Audience;
Children interested in babysitting or staying home alone ages 9-15.
Certification Card;
For ages 11+, valid for 2 years, certification cards are awarded the same day the class is completed. Note -Children ages 9-10 will receive a wall certificate.

Pet First Aid

Description:
Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill pet as temporary assistance until competent veterinary care is available. Properly applied first aid can save your pet’s life, reduce recovery time and be the difference between temporary disability and lifelong disability. This program concentrates on basic first aid care. It is not intended to replace veterinary care, but rather to instruct the pet owner on how to save a pet’s life during an emergency or to minimize a pet’s trauma after an injury.
Audience:
Anyone interested in providing first aid care to a pet, trainers, groomers, pet sitters, and veterinary assistants.
Certification Card:
Valid for 2 years, certification cards are awarded the same day the class is completed.

CPR Pro
Length: 4 hours
Description:
This course covers core material such as adult, child, and infant CPR, ventilations with a barrier device, 1 and 2 rescuer techniques, use of the bag-valve mask, automated external defibrillation (AED), and aid for choking victims.
Audience:
For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, dental hygienists, nursing students, or anyone that is interested in learning one and two person with defibrillator skills.
Certification Card:
Valid for 2 years, certification cards are awarded the same day the class is completed.
