Basic CPR and First Aid for Adults

Length: 5 - 5½ hours , 2-3 hours for renewal
Description:
This course teaches single rescuer techniques of adult CPR and how to help an adult choking victim. Class will cover the signs and symptoms of a heart attack, when to start and stop CPR, warning signs of serious illness, disease transmission and legalities.
Audience:
For any person who wants to learn these important life saving skills. For those who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Meets OSHA requirements.
Certification Card :
Valid for 2 years, certification cards are awarded the same day the class is completed.

For anyone who wants to learn emergency techniques for children– parents, family, friends. For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, bus drivers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations.
